How can I check the status of a SPOT or BID quote?

To make quotation management easier for logistics providers, we created a status system that simplifies organization and tracking.

For SPOT quotations

To understand the status of a SPOT quote, go to the left-side menu, select “Quotations” under “Management”, and on the right side of the “SPOT Quote Requests” table you will find the statuses.

  • Open: quotations that have not yet reached the deadline, so offers can still be submitted by logistics providers;
  • Closed: quotations that have reached the deadline, but the route has not yet been awarded;
  • Nominated: in the logistics provider’s view, the “Nominated” status means you won the route;
  • Canceled: quotations that were canceled;
  • Countered: quotations where a counteroffer was made to the logistics provider;
  • Pending: quotations not yet submitted by the logistics provider;
  • On hold: quotations marked as on hold by the customer;
  • Declined: for the logistics provider, this status means the route was not won.

Practical examples

  1. To view quotations you can still participate in, click Filters and select the “Open” status. You will use those with the “Pending” status within the "Open" filter.
  2. To see quotations where you were the selected provider (won routes), click Filters and select the “Awarded” status.

For BID quotations

In BIDs, statuses work a bit differently. For logistics providers, the BID status will always appear as “Ongoing”, because if the customer closes the BID, it will no longer appear for the provider.

Therefore, in BIDs you should pay attention to the padlock icon next to the status, as well as the text displayed on the right side of the bar.

  • Ongoing: the BID is still available to the logistics provider and has not been canceled;

  • Open padlock: BIDs that have not yet reached the deadline, so offers can still be submitted by logistics providers;

  • Closed padlock: BIDs that have reached the deadline, so offers can no longer be submitted by logistics providers;

  • Removed: if the customer deems it necessary, they may remove logistics providers from the BID; when this happens, the status for that provider will change to “Removed” for that specific BID;

  • Pending: quotations not yet submitted by the logistics provider;

  • Responded: quotations already submitted by the logistics provider and awaiting decision.

In the case of BIDs, the status will not change to “Nominated” in the logistics provider’s view if a route is won, since multiple routes may be awarded.
