Access the system in the environment where you intend to register a new Business Unit. It is important to note that each client has an exclusive environment, which means that all registrations and information generated in this space are confidential and private.
The Business Unit (BU) is a division that allows you to segment different areas of the company. With this structure, it is possible to organize the units independently, facilitating access to specific teams. This allows for the creation of distinct SPOTs and BIDs, as well as personalized financial reports for each unit.
Additionally, you can standardize the currency used in quotations, configure email notifications for appointments and thank-you letters in a personalized way per BU, and define which information each user will have access to within the system. In this way, we can ensure a clear separation and organization of the various areas within the corporate environment.
In the left sidebar menu, identify the 'Database' section and then click on 'Business Unit'.
Next, in the upper right part of the screen, click on the green 'Add Business Units' button. The mandatory fields will be marked with a red asterisk (*).
- Name: Fill in the BU name.
- Currency: Enter, if desired, the currency that will be the default for this BU at the time of quotation equalization.
- Type: Define whether or not this BU will be customized. If it is, you will have the option to add a specific logo for this business unit (this logo will appear in the PDFs extracted from the system) and customize the nomination and thank-you letter emails, as well as the email settings.
- Additional Business Unit Information: You can fill in, if you wish, the company/BU name, Federal Tax ID, State Registration and Address.
- Users in Copy of the Request: It is also possible to automatically set all users who should be in copy of the open quotations linked to this BU.
After filling in all this information, click Submit to finalize.
