What should I do to receive price feedback from the customer?
Understand how price feedback works and how to receive it
There are two ways for customers to provide price feedback in Cargo Sapiens:
-
Sending price feedback after appointing a logistics provider
-
Sending price feedback for quotations in which no logistics provider will be appointed
The Price Feedback with Appointment functionality is a tool that Cargo Sapiens customers use to inform suppliers, at the end of the process, how their prices compare to those of other participants. The feedback is automatically sent to participants who were not selected in the logistics provider nomination. In other words, the nominated logistics provider will not receive this feedback.
The purpose of this functionality for the logistics provider is to ensure that each participant has the opportunity to identify areas for improvement in future quotations and enhance their positioning with the customer.
The Price Feedback in quotations with no appointment functionality is useful when the customer does not wish to proceed with a nomination, for internal reasons, but still wants to send price feedback to suppliers. In other words, it should be used if the customer wants to inform suppliers that the service will no longer be required for that route.
The purpose of this functionality for the logistics provider is to ensure effective feedback, preventing you from being left without information.
When will I receive price feedback from customers?
Each customer has the freedom to enable or not enable the price feedback feature in their environment, and it is not Cargo Sapiens’ responsibility. Therefore, if one of your customers is using the system and this functionality is not active, you may suggest its activation, highlighting the benefits for you as a logistics provider.
The customer also has the option to decide whether this price feedback will be broken down into origin, destination, and freight charges, to make it easier to understand in which area improvements are needed.
