I’m unable to attach files to my quote request

Proper attachment submission ensures more accurate and efficient quotes

When creating a quote in Cargo Sapiens, the system provides a specific field for adding attachments. This is where files with complementary information should be uploaded, ensuring that the logistics provider has access to all the necessary data to structure an appropriate proposal.

Documents are attached in the "Attachments" field at the time the quote is created:

Proper use of this feature generates direct benefits in the process:

  • Reduces the need for back-and-forth messages to request additional information; 

  • Decreases the risk of pricing errors;

     

  • Increases supplier response speed;

  • Ensures greater clarity and traceability of information within the platform

.If you have difficulty attaching files, the most common cause is related to the system’s file size limit. Cargo Sapiens allows files of up to 25MB per attachment, with a total limit of up to 50MB. Files exceeding this limit will not be uploaded successfully.

In these situations, it is recommended to:

  • Compress the file;

     

  • Split the content into smaller files;

Additionally, we recommend that all files not stored in the cloud (such as OneDrive, Google Drive, among others) be saved directly to your local folder, as these formats may require additional access permissions from logistics providers.
